Favorite Junk Pieces

Hi Girls, Beth over at Olde Tyme Marketplace(Im so sorry I dont know how to add your site so that someone can just click on it from here) can anyone help? had a post to share your favorite junk piece. I said I would share a pic of mine. This is an old post office box from a small town near me. My husband bought it for $5.00 one tag sale. We had been looking for something big to hang behind the sofa, I had imagined a large advertising sign. He came home with this an it was perfect, heavy to hang but perfect. I love to use the mail slots to decorate with. Its a great conversation piece and a great eye catcher. I just love it. Gotta go to work chat at you gals later!

That's really cute! Definitely a keeper! A piece that not everyone would have and there is so much you can do with that.

Have a great day!

What a great shelf! Your hubby was at the right place at the right time. If you ever get tired of it, I'll give you my address. :)

Have a great weekend!

I love it, it is so awesome, and since my husband is a mail carrier, I think he should find me one. Don't you agree? Have a great weekend.

I absolutely love your "junk" piece!
I could find a place for it in my home too!
I can let you know how to highlight the link that you would like people to click on.
This is how I do it: I go to their "about me page", scroll down to the name of their blog, right click on the name and highlight that. I usually start at the back of their name and move the curser to the left. I then right click on the highlighted name, click on "copy". Then return to where you are posting, where ever you left off writing. Right click again, then click on "paste". Their blog name will appear in a different color.
I hope this helps. I don't know if there is an easier way, if so I would be interested in knowing.
I really enjoy your blog and the Christmas music. It's my favorite!

Hi Dawn,
Wow, what a great piece to go above your sofa! I love it! And what fun to it would be to hunt for all the goodies to put in the cubbies.

WOW...that is awesome!!! i love it!!!
how to do the link thing...type your post, put in that persons name, and when you are done go back and highlight the name, then go to the top where the B I buttons are, you will see a button that looks like chain, click on it and a box will appear. there you type in the site name, e.i.(www.blahblah.blogspot.com) then the persons name or blog name will turn blue, underline, etc. to show that you can click on it. it took me forever...i asked a million people and finally got it!!! if you have any more questions do not hesitate to send an email and i will do my best to help!!!!
